Hi, That Subwoofer was given to my friend's family as a gift, but in general Subwoofers deliver a non directional low frequency audio effect that even has the ability to vibrate items in the listening area. From the info you sent about the speakers you are using, I would suggest you set the unit crossover to handle frequencies below 100Hz. Even though your speakers have a wide frequency response - it's the subwoofer that handles the .1 EFFECT of a 5.1 / 7.1 / 9.1 surround sound system. Your other speakers will sound good on their own, but their woofers are not expected to do what the powered sub can do. Thanks, I hope this answers your question.
