This is all relative however if you mean huge bass like you would get from a subwoofer, no, you won't get that. You will get well defined, good sounding bass. Not boomy at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Add a sub woofer!!! Then you can drown out ALL the highs with the THUMP, THUMP, THUMP.!!!! I have a 12" Sony sub and I can blow the windows out of the house with it! The front speakers have enough bass for me, but you can't even compare that sound with the sound of the same speakers with a sub... I replaced a pair of JBL towers with these because my new cabinet is so big that it takes up the whole corner of the room and there simply wasn't room for them any longer. I believe they sound better than the JBL's for sure, but they're small enough to sit on top of the cabinet as my front speakers now. And to top it off, they look fantastic with their copper speaker cones! And if I didn't already have a whole set of 6 tower JBL's plus a center speaker and a 12" sub, I'd have bought the whole set just for the looks of them, plus the company has a bundle deal that would save me BIG bucks too! The whole set isn't cheap, but I would have bought them because of the big discount of the bundle!. They look fantastic AND they sound good!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are bookshelf speakers. The bass response will be adequate to a point. But, if you really need strong bass I would recommend getting a powered subwoofer and let your bookshelf speakers breathe a sigh of relief. You and your speakers will be very pleased.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bass is great for a 5 1/4" speaker. If your looking for bass shaking you need a SUBWOOFER
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bass is good but not great. Remember these are bookshelf speakers..if you don't want a sub I would recommend their towers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine with a 300W subwoofer (Athena). They blend very well with the subwoofer at the right crossover settings. If you need strong bass, these speakers only have a 5.5" driver, and probably will not do the job alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will never get "strong" bass from a 5 1/4" woofer. The bass sounds very good for their small size, but if you really like bass as I do too, these speakers sound fantastic when paired up with an external subwoofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bass is pretty decent but if you want strong bass you would need a subwoofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A 5 1/4" speaker is going to give you some bass, which most people would consider a 'balanced sound'. It is pure physics; a speaker needs to be physically larger to be able to move sufficient air to get the really low tones with any amount of volume. If you really need to shake the walls, a subwoofer is what you are looking for...Best Buy has a 300 watt Klipsch sub available. Still not enough bass? There are much bigger and more powerful subs available at the higher end audio/video stores that sell a full array of home theatre products, but be aware that you will be entering an entirely different price bracket. As well, you may need to consider your environment....these are not good for healthy neighbor relationships if you live in an apartment: bass travels a long way. You may need to consider some sort of crossover/bypass system so that the really low bass is only being sent to your subwoofer, to avoid distorted sound with something like these smaller Klipsch speakers.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you need an accurate bass, just move these speakers about 18" from rear wall. If you need a inaccurate loud bass get a sub woofer and crank it up
