“Would these speakers be suited for use with an 8watt per channel el34 based tube amplifier?”

• These speakers are high sensitivity (94 db) which means the will play loudly with lower power. Therefore I think they would probably work just fine with your amp. You could always purchase, audition, and return them if they don't play loudly enough, in which case I would look for even higher sensitivity speakers, maybe 100 db.

• I run the monoprice Bluetooth tube amp on these, and it does really well at 15 watts. Super efficient speakers, so that 8 will probably move them. I did run wires to the line in on an 8" sub too, which rounds out the low end, if that's your thing.

• * watts per channel-no they wont-you might get sound out of them but nothing special-they are meant to run at like 85 watts continous
