In theory yes. But I've never heard of an optical splitter. That would be tricky to do with out affecting the signal due to the nature of optical.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only issue I'm aware of is that the R-15PM optical input requires PCM (Stereo) mode encoding, according to the manual. The technical documentation I can find makes no mention of supporting Dolby encoding. So, provided your TV will output PCM (which is the default mode on every TV I own), and your sound bar will accept PCM, it should work fine. The splitter shouldn't care, as PCM mode is the lowest common denominator for all Toslink S/PDIF implementations these days. Use a good splitter. I've seen some real junk out there.
