Bluetooth
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you don't. I purchased an AudioTechnica turntable a couple of weeks ago and these speakers have its own built in amplifier. It has a phonograph preamp, which is what I mainly use. It should also work easily with a computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Right Speaker has an amplifier built in. The Left is just a normal speaker and it comes with a 10 foot Speaker Cable INCLUDED that you run from one speaker to the other in order to get sound to the Left Speaker. You do NOT need an external amplifier. There are FIVE different input choices. - Bluetooth so you can WIRELESSLY play things like you iPhone, etc. - Optical Audio In for things like home theater. There was an Optical Cable INCLUDED even though it doesn't say that in the description. Maybe a new employee accidentally put it in there, or maybe it's included. I quickly used this cable to get sound from my TV to the speakers. - 3.5mm Stereo Mini Jack Audio Input for use with various players. - RCA Audio Inputs that can be switched between Phono-Level and Line-Level for almost any audio component including computers and phono players. - USB Audio In for use with computers that have USB Audio Out. So with ALL those choices, surely you will be able to hook your computer up to these speakers. I am very happy with these speakers, especially since I attached a Klipsch 12" Subwoofer using the Sub Out plug. They sound AWESOME together. I shake the whole house when playing music from my iPhone. The only downside with these speakers (and it's not a big deal) but they automatically turn the volume down each time the power is turned off. But it's well worth the effort of turning them back up since they sound so awesome with that 12" Subwoofer.
