Can I use these as rear surrounds . null

True surroundsound is five speakers. These two speakers can be used as part of your surround sound system but you also must have them hooked up to an equalizer so they can interact with the other three speakers in the system, so the answer would be “yes” as long as you get other components along with them because they cannot be true surrend sound by themselves, but they are great speakers and I’ve never regretted buying them, I love them a lot.
