QuestionIs this the same unit as the wired version. Can it run wired. I don't want to run wireless but the wireless version is $50 cheaper than the wired right now.

QuestionSo... I bought this because I assumed it had speaker level inputs just like every other subwoofer I looked at. I'm trying to hook it up to a 1970s Marantz receiver. Should I just return it or is there a good way to hook up variable line level input?

- Answer As long as your reciever has an output, it will work. The sub has a built in crossover, so even it it is not a sub output, you are okay if you are going for music. If you are going for movies, go ahead a get a new reciever with a dedicated subwoofer output so that the decoder will play on the correct channel.

QuestionIs this speaker compatible with other brand receivers? I have a Sony receiver that had Bluetooth and wi-fi, will this speaker still work with a different brand receiver?

- Answer Yes, the subwoofer will work with just about any receiver, that allows speaker wires to be attached. It offers not only a wireless connection, but also offers a wired connection.

- Answer your receiver device must have multiple sub outputs to support each sub other wise a filter could be used to remove unwanted frequencies. high or low pass.
