Subwoofer on my system produces same performance. If this is by design, they did a poor job of matching subwoofer to the system. I’m not impressed at all.

Audio out of the sound at is great but the bass is horrible. They did not focus on this as part of the sound experience and focused more on the mids and highs. I am disappointed and looking into another set up.

When you press the button, you should notice the “NIGHT” LED on the far right of the soundbar turning on and off. Next make sure the “SUB” level is properly adjusted (middle of the remote). When you press these button you’ll notice the source LED on the soundbar flashing. When the sub level is at its min or max the LED will stop flashing. I hope that helps! Otherwise Google: Klipsch RSB-11 Manual, for further guidance. It should be the first link. Good luck!
