I had this exact problem. Only Netflix and Amazon were coming in with static when playing a video. All trailers and selection sounds were fine. I was using Amazon Firestick with AV cables which didn't really work with Dobly Digital Plus. Going into Amazon Fire settings for Audio and was able to turn off Dolby Digital Plus. This stopped the issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On my LG TV under digital setting output, changed it to PCM from auto and it started working. I was using the ARC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you have the HDMI cable plugged into a HDMI ARC input on the TV. It will not pass sound without being plugged into an HDMI ARC input, only video. And you may need to enable CEC on the sound bar itself. I don’t remember if it needs that for the HDMI or just analog. I don’t remember the button combo on the sound bar to enable CEC but the manual has it and so does the Klipsch website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Got a new vizio m class tv and the soundbar wasnt working with anything streaming, only worked with direct tv. I switched the output from auto to pcm and it worked great afterwards

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are using a smart TV audio out to soundbar, it may be only available in analog from Amzn/Nflx...try analog setting on soundbar. If you have a streaming device plugged first into the HDMI on soundbar and then HDMI out from soundbar to TV, they should both work in digital fine...
