“The Remote control just stopped working. Replaced batteries, but that is not the issue. It is not responding at all. I have another Klipsch sound bar and have to use the remote from other sound bar to control this one.”

Sounds like the problem is the remote. You may want to consider a universal remote which I find much more dependable and works across multiple devices seamlessly.
