“Can these speakers be used as front speakers in surround”

• They can but you will definitely need a sub. They have very little low end and are intended for surround speakers....like front high or wide....or surround and rear surround.

• Yes. But I don't recommend it. Because of the low Wattage. I use the Klipsch R-51M Reference Bookshelf Speakers for the Right and Left Fronts. Because they're peak is slightly over 300 watts. Hope that helps.
