“Can these speakers sit directly next to a LG 4k TV on a mantle without affecting the picture?”

• Yes. The magnets in speakers could affect the stream of ions creating the picture on the old cathode Ray tube type TVs ( those heavy glass ones) but won't affect flat screen TV at all

• Mine sit next to a Vizio 4k TV with no picture distortion. The speakers are over 8 inches deep and fairly heavy, so hopefully your mantle is big enough.
