They should work great for your configuration. Your receiver has two height inputs so I would recommend two sets. Especially if you have a medium to large sized room. Front and side placement would probably give you the best sound but I would try front and rear surround as well. Keep in mind that the front height speakers would be in addition to your front left and right channels. You can lay them on top of your current speakers if they are floor standing with a large enough surface or mount them high on the wall. Run your microphone setup with each configuration to find what's best for you. Then tweak the settings from there. The speakers are 8 ohm with 50 watt continuous and 100 watt peak. Keep that in mind if you like to play things loud. My system is 120 watts per channel at 8 ohm so these are perfect in my configuration. I also have a small room 17 X 15" so I would go deaf before I overloaded the speakers. I am also set up in a 5.1 configuration with the rear height speakers being my 2 additional channels in my 7.2 receiver. I plan to get another set as my standard (side) surrounds. Even with the small room.
