You can of course. Do you need it, absolutely NOT! You can always add a sub later if you choose. The bass from these are what they say is "In the basement". You have 4 - 8 inch solid woofers aimed at ya. If you do get a sub, you really need two of them to balance things out with the left and the right. O ya pull your speakers away from the wall people! Get them a foot away from the wall for starters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got the Klipsch sub. That thing rocks. We have actually adjusted the base down a bit it can really crank it out. The pair is really nice
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s not required but the sub will give you a totally different experience. I went with 2 R120Sw subs and I am happy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They produce decent low tones if you have your receiver set to send the full range of sound to them... That being said subs hit hard... For that room shaking feel it thru the couch you will want a sub.. I would recommend the r-100sw or the r-120sw from Klipsch they are amazing not recommended if you live in an apartment there is no setting low enough for that lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will add to the lower frequency very nice . You can go for R-100SW or R-120SW depends upon the bass level and the size of your room. I am using R-100SW which nicely complements with the 2 820 for my set up
