You can use bare wire or banana plugs. There's a little plastic cap on the speaker terminals that needs to be removed to insert the banana plugs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You unscrew the plastic cap far enough to put the wire through the metal post hole, then re-tighten it. The black is for the negative wire coming from the unit and red for the positive. The plastic caps don’t come all the way off, just far enough to view the hole so you can put the wire through it and tighten cap.
