Im running it with my Atmos set up, it sound incredible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That question wouldn't really apply to this speaker. The speaker will say dolby atmos if it is meant for the dolby atmos part of your home theater setup. This sub is compatible with any receiver since it has its own power source. You just connect it to your receiver and your good. It will make your movies sound scary loud and good, trust me. I'm an avid audiophile and bought this subwoofer and it will wake your neighbors up easily if you watch movies at night. It sounds very accurate. Good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To answer your question: Yes, this sub is compatible in a Dolby Atmos system and no, it is not Dolby Atmos certified. This sub has nothing to do with Dolby Atmos nor does any other sub. Atmos is essentially the processing of sound coming from above the listening position. Usually with ceiling firing modules, height speakers, or in ceiling speakers. You can technically have an Atmos system without having a sub at all.
