• You only need the right and left controllers in order to do your punches. If recognizes my kicks without using a leg band

• Technically all you need is a little extra adapter that has the wrist strap. However, I recommend getting the little cheap knuckles attachments that you can find at places such as five below. They don't actually do anything, but they make the joycons a lot easier to hold for games such as this.

• You just need your Joy Cons and space in your room. The Joy Cons pick up your movements. When you do the kicks, you also move the Joy Cons. That's it!
