A:Answer I had thousands of slides to scan. I found it best to deal with 3 at a time because you put 3 all at once in the black slot cartridge, then you can push on the 2 outside slides to center the middle slide, scan that one, then swap the left slide to the right side, center the new middle slide, repeat for the 3rd slide. Went faster doing it in 3's that way.
