      Using for old negatives

      It’s good so far & I can brighten up the negative. I’ve found a way to use negatives that you don’t have a holder for. My sister got it for her slides.

      Does the job!

      I’ve scanned almost 6,000 frames of 135 negatives successfully. I wish the unit had automatic rather than manual color correction to deal with the greenish or orangish distortion of 1960s-early 1970s Color film, but I’m able to correct correct in photo editing software. The Scanza was easier to use than expected.

      Really torn about rating this device

      I've had a lot of trouble getting this scanner to work. If I can resolve the issue, I will raise the rating to 5 stars, because when it is working, it's great. Once you set up your image with the right adapter, it works quickly and the scans are high quality. You do have to use an SD card for the Scanza to operate. The problem is that my device keeps freezing with the display showing vertical green lines down the image. The only way to move forward at this point is to disconnect the power and then reboot the device. Unfortunately, this happens sometimes after every few images. I have contacted the company to see if the power cord may be defective or if I'm doing something wrong. BTW this is a product of C&A Marketing using the Kodak name under license.

      works well

      I bought this to scan some old slides. It works fine, does what it is supposed to do. Not a high end unit but perfect for what I need at a reasonable price. Only extra needed is a SD card. I can now preserve and share some old family memories. Might try some film negatives once I have finished with the slides.
