If the fan motor is turning in the lid and the lid vents have proper ventilation when operating then the unit should function normally and should not overheat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I first used it on a trip from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania, about 10 hours. However, I had it plugged into an outlet that goes on and off with the ignition so it was on 8 of the 10 hours. Even with the pauses, everything stayed cold.
