Q: QuestionHow do you change it from hot to cold ?That's the question
Asked by T.
- A:Answer Please refer to the owner's manual for the operating instructions and diagram. The cooler can be operated in the heating mode, by reversing the polarity of the power supplied to the cooler. This can easily be done by gently pulling out the power cord from the cord connector, reversing the bi-pin plug and pushing it back in. NOTE: When the arrow is aligned with the red dot the unit is in heat mode. When the arrow is aligned with the blue dot the unit is in cooling mode. Do not operate your cooler in the heating mode for longer than 45 minutes continuously. Excessive temperatures in the unit may cause bulging of the liner.

Q: QuestionOnce the drinks are cooled and you turn off the power, how long will the drinks remain cold?
Asked by PollyWantsACracker.
- A:Answer This is very dependent upon conditions. Koolatron coolers are extremely well insulated and will provide many hours of cool protection, even when switched off. Try to keep the cooler in the shade. Instead of leaving the cooler in a vehicle overnight, use an AC adapter which converts standard 110 Volt AC power to 12 volts DC, and plug the cooler into mains power when not driving.

Q: QuestionI am looking for a small electric cooler where I can charge the unit inside my home and in my car. I want the unit mostly for keeping drinks/lunch in my car through an 8-hour period. Can you make a recommendation?
Asked by Rick.
- A:Answer The 12v coolers such as the P27 voyager either run off 12 volts in a vehicle or may be powered by the optional AC power adapter to plug the cooler into 110/120 volts in your home. If the cooler is left plugged into a vehicle and the vehicle if off then the cooler will drain the battery completely in approximately 4 hours. The 12 volt coolers are not rechargeable and they do not have a battery pack. You would have to run the cooler with an ac power adapter.
