“Can the key lock mechanism be rekeyed to fit my current Kwikset door key that also fits the other doors in my house? I don't want to have to carry multiple keys, most Kwikset deadbolt locks can be keyed to fit an existing key - that is why I am asking.”

Yes, the Halo Smart Lock has the SmartKey technology which allows rekeying the lock at any time to the other Kwikset key but is not compatible with other brands.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keypad lock uses "Smartkey" this allows the lock to be quickly (like maybe 30 seconds) be re-keyed to any kwikset key. So the halo smartkey lock can be rekeyed to match the key any other kwikset lock. Doesn't matter if the other key is for a smartkey lock or not.
