Can the cylinder be replaced? We have a specialized key and cylinder that prevent copying and lock picking. Can we replace the cylinder that comes with the unit and use ours AND still have the same functionality, i.e., keyless entry?

Kwikset Model: 925 KEVO DB 15 Kevo Bluetooth Smart Lock in Satin Nickel is not compatible with other cylinders. However the Kevo does come with a cylinder with SmartKey technology. SmartKey technology adds drill resistance to the lock, has BumpGuard, a patented side locking bar technology that offers improved protection against lock bumping and has superior pick resistance.
