• it is powered by 4 AA batteries so I wouldn't subject it to rain and the elements.

• Kevo Convert Electronic Smart Door lock is not waterproof. The interior for this model is not designed for exterior use and should be under cover and needs to be protected from the elements. The exterior can be installed on an outside door but not be exposed to direct weather.
