QuestionI recently purchased this to link with my xfinity home but I’m getting a firmware error. Spoke to xfinity rep and firmware needs to end in 606 while this one ends in 617. Do you carry this lock with the -606 firmware version???

- Answer Kwiset Model: 99160-009 please visit your local Best Buy customer service counter for pricing and availability. Currently the unit is compatible with Zwave. BEST BUY units will ONLY work with CABLE ZB Systems(TWC, Comcast Cox or Xfinity)

- Answer You can use it by itself. But you need an Homekit hub (Apple TV (4K), Homepod, ipad acting as a hub), for remote connectivity and for automations.

- Answer Yes it can! I know for sure that it will if you use the Samsung Smart Things Hub with it as that is how we have it set up. I am not sure if there are other "hubs" that work with it as well. We absolutely love the set up. It was also VERY easy to set up the Hub and get the locks linked to it and the Smart Things App which is where you control the locks.

- Answer No extra holes as long as the deadbolt holes are already there. Very easy to install and program. It only took me about 1/2 hour.

- Answer This model uses the zigbee technology so it will work with Smartthings. For wink compatibility you'll need to get the Z wave model

- Answer the keypad can be exposed to the weather. It comes with a bluetooth/wifi adapter that has to be plugged in and maintained inside.
