• These replace the deadbolt of the door but you will still have to have a "handle". I have 3 of these along with kwikset handles that can be "re-keyed". Each separate assembly you buy from kwikset has a separate and different key. I have keyed all of my locks the same. . .so 6 in total with 5 spares if I feel the need to re-key them again. Kwikset also sells new keys separately.

• Kwikset Model: 99140-014 replaces the manual deadbolt with an electric deadbolt. If the current keys are Kwikset you may rekey the lock to the current key. The locks feature the Smart key technology that allows rekeying the lock to one key.
