• It feels like pleather and I wear it in the shower with no problems. Great idea since you can wear the watch in the pool.

• Sorry but I can't help you with this question. I don't wear my Fitbit in the pool. Got too many negative comments about people getting theirs wet then not working. I do like the leather band however. The silicone band was irritating my arm so I changed to the leather band. :)
