I have this same case for the Note 8. You don't have to charge the case at all, it draws power from your phone somehow. So as long as your phone is in the case, it will work without you ever needing to charge it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need to charge the case. The LED light comes up automatically through the reflection from the phone. I don't know how Samsung came about the technology, but it's so cool. All the information about the product are all correct.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The case does not require charging. The case communicates with the phone via the NFC/Wireless charging coil. There is one in your phone and one in the case. If you have seen the Samsung beam functionality where you can touch the back of two phones to share a photo or a video between them, basically, no the case does not need to be charged as is receives power from the phone. Also it does not really drain the battery, well at least from my tests with it.
