Yes I have SteamOS on a flash drive and it’s the first thing I did, didn’t even let windows get to the set up screen. Just remember to boot into bios and turn off secure boot. No tweaking as Lenovo is now fully supported for SteamOS
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It isn’t flashed, it is installed and you would have to download the OS media and then install it onto the device. If you upgrade the drive you can probably dual boot and run both as needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi daz, In theory, you could run SteamOS on the system despite it coming with WindowsOS; however, it will require "tweaking" as you put it. Given that this is a Windows based system, Windows will not wish to play nicely with another platform's OS fighting for a place as the primary boot OS. And, since the system features one storage slot, as of now, natively, it would not be an optimal experience trying to dual boot Steam and Windows on one drive.
