“Will this pentium be powerful enough to allow me to grade papers using Windows ink? The students would email me the papers & I will mark them up, so no printing and grading hardcopies. The store told me I'd need at least an i3 processor. Is this correct?”

This system is compatible with Windows Ink. It does not come with an active/digital pen. The pen is sold separately. Whether the Intel Pentium processor is the right processor for you, will depend on the program you use to grade the papers. If it is Microsoft Office, the Pentium processor will work. Any other program, we recommend you check with the software publisher web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.
