• It has raised keys. They are not all smashed together like some laptops and don't appear to have the potential to pop off like other laptops I've used. I like the set up and how it keeps the keyboard clean.

• The keyboard is low based and feels very cheap but the real issue is the trackpad it runs like trash.. best to use a mouse
