Lenovo says it's upgradeable to 16gb of RAM. However, if read my review of this machine, it seems to have issues recognizing new RAM.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can upgrade the memory. You have to remove the battery first and remove the 3 screws and slide the cover off. the memory will be located in 2 spots. Spread the clips on both sides, the memory will pop out. Examine the memory and write down the name and model. Like Samsung M471B5173DBO-YKO 11-13 B4 is my 4GB stick. Then go on Amazon or ebay and look for the same type.
