I have never heard of this problem are you sure you were using the right password.

It could be a driver update issue.  If you can hard wire connect to the internet, you can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for a driver update for network-WiFi for your specific system.  Be sure to create a restore point on your device before you make any changes, then create a new restore point once the issue is fixed.  Here's the link:
