• Very good for students. I would recommend it. Only drawback is the same for all laptops the glide point is in a bad spot and can move while typing.

• This is an entry-level system that would be good for Microsoft Office project, research online, email and online social networking. If that this the type of work the student will be doing, then yes, this would be an appropriate system. Approximate battery life is 4 to 6 hours, depending on the working being done on the system.
