I don't know if this answers your question or not. I bot this laptop around the first of October. It seemed very slow downloading programs and my GoogleDrive files. I hardwired it to my modem and got 27 mbps. I pay the cable co for 200 mbps and my desktop, that was wired to the same modem got 200 mbps right after I tested the laptop. IMO there is something restricting the download speed.
