I've had it on battery power for 8 hours with no problems so far.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.At 95% charge, it had over a 4 hour battery life remaining. Mine is also in power saving mode so that may be part of that increase. Hope that helps :)

I have not done an official test, but i would suspect 9 hours is extremely do-able unless you are spending the whole time rendering footage in adobe or playing very taxing games. I use mine for some photo editing work, like video work, blogging, and web browsing and so far the battery has really impressed me.
