• Mine came with WIndows 10. No Microsoft word. BUT... when you sign up with Google you get the whole collection, including Google Documents, which is almost Microsoft Word.

• No. It has a word processor though. As a student, you should invest in Microsoft Home and Student. you won't regret it. RAF
