I put in a 16 GB ram card, the brand was Crucial and it shows a total of 20 GB of RAM I've seen where it says it could take a 32 GB ram card, NOTE: there is only one open slot to put a card in. I know for a fact that the 16GB ram card works without a problem I am not 100% sure about the 32 gig card go to crucial.com and the site will do a test on your computer to see if it's compatible
