It will depend on the programs you will be using. This device has a 64GB solid state hard drive. Approximately 40GB are available to the user for storage. Be sure that is enough space for the programs you will be installing. There is a SD card slot on the device that can be used for adding more storage space for pictures. We recommend you check with the specific software publisher's web sites of the programs you will be using, for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

I would think over time you would find it too small and would not have the amount of storage you say you want to use it for. You can always get an external hard drive to solve that but you are going to be looking a very small screen when doing business and I would think that you would enjoy a 14" or 15.6" to help with your vision over time.
