yes...but the date on the HDD drive needs to be migrated...unless you do a fresh install.

Absolutely, and it will make it run much faster, and it is very easy to install.

All work on this system must be done by a certified technician so as to not void the warranty. A certified technician could replace the standard HD in this system with a compatible SSD.
