Is this a good laptop for a college student? null

It would depend on the work you will be doing. This is a mid-range laptop. The Intel Core I-5 processor is extremely versatile. It will be good for moderate to heavy use, doing Microsoft Office projects, online research with multiple windows/programs open. If you have more than 5 windows/programs open, the system will slow down but still continue to do the work. If this describes what you will be doing, this would be the right system for you.

Absolutely! Not a gaming PC though.

This is a wonderful laptop for a college student. It should be able to do everything you need it to do.
