- Answer Mimi, I just bought this today on a whim, and I am so happy with it. Don't forget to do all your Windows 10 Updates beforehand though, that will slow it down a bit at first but after spending some time doing the proper updates and tweaks, it is very fast and very responsive

- Answer Given it is a budget sub 500 laptop, I'd say it isn't bad, it has Dolby digital, and it didn't sound cheap nor crackling like others of its kind. It was easy to control, and had some options for base and treble. Considering its price, I was impressed with the audio, but I also am not a musician or recording artist, so don't just take my word for it. It was better than a DELL, a HP, or Acer within that price range, without a doubt!

- Answer Sub $500, I think it can run it, but the colors are not like a Full HD Display, and there is no discreet graphics card, we have to be real at this price, it is basic fast for internet web browsing, Office suite, Skype, Netflix, YouTube..

- Answer The max and type of memory for this laptop is 16GB max / PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L so yes, you can increase the RAM. It'll be easier to just purchase a 16 GB kit and get rid of the RAM that came with the laptop.

QuestionAre you able to turn the touch pad on and off, and how?

- Answer Yes, in the bottom right hand side, where the task bar is located, there are icons there next to the time display, there you will see one icon with a ^ button. If you click on that, you will see the icon for the touch pad. That opens and gives you many options to use for the touch pad, and yes, you can turn it off. I see where at times a touch pad can be annoying because you can hit it accidentally and ruin a page you are working on, so that is a great feature. Hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, this is a good basic computer. If the printer is Windows 10 compatible, you will need to install the Windows 10 driver from the printer manufacturer's web site on to this device. Then they should be able to print wirelessly or connect via USB port.

- Answer My Lenovo ideapad 300 indeed has an ethernet port. Access is a bit funky with a partially flexible plastic cover that has to be pushed down to access wired ethernet. I would suggest not flexing it too often; it seems flimsy but acceptable.

- Answer It would depend on the work you will be doing. This is a mid-range laptop. The Intel Core I-5 processor is extremely versatile. It will be good for moderate to heavy use, doing Microsoft Office projects, online research with multiple windows/programs open. If you have more than 5 windows/programs open, the system will slow down but still continue to do the work. If this describes what you will be doing, this would be the right system for you.
