Yes, this is a good basic computer. If the printer is Windows 10 compatible, you will need to install the Windows 10 driver from the printer manufacturer's web site on to this device. Then they should be able to print wirelessly or connect via USB port.

The speaker sound is good too,but if they are hard of hearing maybe a blue tooth speaker for them too. Also,familiarize them with windows 10 if they don't have it in their old computer or they may not like it,as some people don't like change. Also,be sure you set up their printer with it too,may need new drivers from the printers web site for windows 10.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Anna, I would highly recommend this for your parents. I bought the laptop for our Nana and she loves it! Was easy to setup and a great upgrade to Nana's older laptop. They should be able to hook up their printer to the laptop and typically Windows 10 will make this pretty easy. The problem however may be the model and age of your printer. Some printer manufacturers have not upgraded the "drivers" or printer software to work with Windows 10. If this is the case for your parents printer, you will most likely not be able to install it on this new laptop. This is not an issue with the laptop but is really an issue with the printer and it's manufacturer. The best way to find out is to go to your printer manufacturer's website, click on a support link typically found on the home page, and then see if there are Windows 10 "driver" and software available for your printer model. If there is, you will be able to use your parents current printer on the new laptop. If not, you will most likely need to purchase a new printer too. Hope this helps!
