All Windows systems going back to Windows 8 and now including this system's Windows 10 Home operating system have the ability to boot from UEFI, it's part of the Windows Recovery system. In less you've changed something, this system has a hybrid drive with the operating system on the SSD side of the drive for quicker boot up and protection of the operating system. You should make recovery disks (or a recovery flash drive) to have a recovery option off of the system hard drive in case of a hard drive failure.
