yes. it really does run slower than computers 10 years older.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Pentium processor in this system has a idle clock speed of 1.6 GHz with Burst Frequency 2.64 GHz. As you know, this system has 4GB of RAM. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased one for email/web use. it is verrrrry slow. Found it only uses or has access to 1.9GB ram (Confirmed by using the Belarc tool to inventory the system). Specs say it supports up to 8GB so I upgraded to 8GB RAM. It still only has access to 1.9GB which is near minimum for Win 10. You will notice that the slow speed is the result of intense page faulting (swapping RAM to/from disk to leverage the disk as additional virtual memory). I would not recommend this for anything but remote use such as a print or file server.
