• I saw it for 399 as we'll and it was NOT a sale price. It was the regular price.

• I also was looking at this, and it WAS 399.00 regular price. Holiday pricing to get another 50 bucks!?

• It is true that it went up in price, I purchased this recently. I figure they realized the laptop was worth more than it was being sold for.
