• A:Answer There is nothing wrong with this laptop. It is being sold as brand new and there are no issues to worry about. The laptop is currently on sale due to Black Friday deals from other retail and etail competitors. Remember, that most companies like Best Buy and Amazon earn 70% or more of their annual revenue on Black Friday and Cyber Monday ;-)

Q: Questioni want to send this laptop as a gift overseas. can this unit be plugged to 220V outlet? what can you recommend so it can be used overseas?

• A:Answer Yes it will. The label on the charger / AC adapter indicates 100 - 240 volts AC input. You would only need a plug adapter to convert it to physically fit the overseas outlet.. This is common for laptop chargers, cell-phone chargers and some other electronic devices that use a "switching" power supply - worldwide power compatibility. But always read the label first to be sure!
