“I have never heard 2 cell battery. Usually laptops have 4 cell or 6 cell batter. Why does it have 2 cell battery? To lower price?”

It has a two battery cell mainly due to the thin form factor of this laptop. The new Kaby Lake 7200u CPU is also extremely efficient and uses only 15 Watts of power under normal load conditions. Battery life is estimated to be between 4 to 5 hours, depending on the specific usage. Watching YouTube videos and playing games will eat up the battery power much faster than just casual internet surfing. Had Lenovo chose to use a 4, 5 or 6 cell battery, the thickness of the laptop and the price would have increased. For just $400, I'm not going to complain ;-)

Please try again later.With the new 7th generation processors you get more efficient use of battery power so we can use a smaller, lighter battery pack and get the same battery life. This model has a 2 Cell, Lithium Polymer, 30Wh battery and should get 4 to 6 hours of battery life.
