A:Answer I have not upgraded the RAM but I think it has a single slot and it comes with 8GB, so 16 is likely doable, but you'll need to check the max mem specs before assuming that for sure. The hard drive is absolutely upgraded easily. There is a small cover to be removed, drive unplugged, and new drive like SSD is easily inserted. Clone the old drive first to make things easy. I can attest to how easy it is as I did upgrade the 1TB 5400 rpm drive (which was ok) to a 480 GB SSD which provided for blazing speeds. Boots in seconds if there is not a Windows update pending.
