The laptop requires a standard HDMI cord to connect directly to a modem.

To connect your IDEAPAD 320 15-80XS00DJUS-A12 to a modem by cable (wired), I recommend nothing less than CAT 5E Ethernet cable. The net work port on the Ideapad has one (1) GB capacity. A wireless connection (WIFI) is also available and it can connect at AC speeds by using a router that broadcasts in AC.

It can be hooked up by normal RJ45 cable. The network cable slot is flexible so you have to adjust the same while plug in network cable.

You will need a standard ethernet cable to connect this device via wire, to a MODEM.
